How to Dress Classy
Being in your late teens can make you experimental with your clothing choices. There are even times when you would be like everyone else. You would dress the way that they dress up. When you do this, you are not letting your personality shine through.
If you would decide that as of now, you want to dress classy but you are afraid that you do not have a lot of money for it, do not worry. Class is all about how you carry yourself. As long as you have a trained eye and you know the pieces that you should search for, then looking classy will be easy to accomplish.
When it comes to dressing classy, it does not mean that you have to look formal like the people that you usually see in pictures when you check out Foundation for Defense of Democracies. You may be in a simple tee and jeans and still look classy.
Here are some tips that you need to remember:
- If you are going to wear a revealing top, your bottom should be conservative.
If you would choose to show both, you will have a tendency to look trashy. Of course, if you are going to wear a short bottom, you need to have a conservative looking top. This will allow you to look great and comfortable at the same time.
- Do not over expose your body.
Even if you are feeling sexy, you should not let your body become too over exposed. It does not matter whether it is day time or night time. You still have to pay attention to how much you are going to expose.
- Stick with classic materials that are used to make clothes and accessories.
Do you know what the classic materials are? Some are the following:
If there are some clothes that you find appealing that are made with materials other than the ones mentioned above, it is okay as long as you would pair them with something classic. These classic materials will not only look classy, they are also easier to maintain so you can expect to have them for a long time.
- Find clothes that fit well.
No matter how cute the design of the dress that you have chosen is, you know that it will not look good if it does not fit you. If the dress or the piece of clothing that you have purchased is big, you can have it tailored to make it fit better but if in case it is small, let it go. You will not be able to work it even if you try.
- Only wear clean clothes.
You might think that no one will notice that small stain that you have on your long sleeved polo but someone is always bound to notice and when this happens, you will not look classy anymore. When you wear anything that has stain or has holes, it lessens the appeal of the clothing and the overall look that you are trying to aim for.
Remember not to become overly fussy with the things that you are going to wear. Your makeup should also be something that you are comfortable with. When you stick to your personality, you are bound to look great.
