Uptown 17 is one of nine Business Revitalization Zones (BRZ's) in Calgary. Calgary's Business Revitalization Zones strive to represent their member businesses in promoting and enhancing their respective business districts. As mentioned, there are nine BRZ's in Calgary: 1) Uptown 17, 2) Bowness, 3) Calgary Downtown Association, 4) Fourth Street, 5) Inglewood, 6) International Avenue, 7) Kensington, 8) Marda Loop and 9) Victoria Crossing now known as CBIZ (Calgary's Business REvitalization Zones).

Recognition of the economic enhancement that BRZ's add to Calgary has led to the development of a strong working relationship between CBIZ, The City of Calgary and Calgary Economic Development.

Our shared goal is to augment and promote economic development in Calgary's established business districts.
